I was left feeling contented by the twists and turns in the book and adored the way in which all the characters interacted to bring a truly marvellous story to a perfect conclusion. They were a wonderful group who had me smiling each time they appeared on the pages. Dabbling in tarot, there is plenty of fun to be had from seeing their predictions and interferences come to fruition. I certainly didn’t spot that Ben had any romantic overtures, but they worked perfectly.įor me, the stars of the story were the villagers. There is a wonderful chemistry between both Eve and Gianni, and I was certainly hopeful that they make take a leap of faith and get to know one another better. He has no name or idea how he’s going to track him down, but he really must. His motivation was to seek out a man mentioned to him on his Father’s deathbed. We then meet Gianni, tall, dark, and handsome he was visiting from Verona, Italy. Despite the fact that Ben, Eve’s brother wasn’t originally included in the itinerary, it was good to see their relationship strengthen. She is now intent on relaxing with her best friend and her brother. They kept me entertained with their antics.Įve was a wonderful character who truly needed her break in the Greek sunshine, having been worn out by her job as a counsellor. The mysterious board who never actually attended to carry out their inspections and the wonderful array of mischievous animals.

I particularly enjoyed the story where it revolved around the animal rescue centre. Granted, I never left home but I felt like I was actually on Corfu. This book was a very special treat that had me tasting the wonderful Greek food and enjoying the feeling of the sun on my skin.
